Hi all, I've recently been noticing this service starting and stopping every 30 minutes or so on my computer. from what I'm told, its only meant to start up ONCE, on startup and then shut down later. Is this caused by a windows problem, or something like that? is it fixable? Its not doing anything bad I dont think, but i'm honestly just waenting to know if theres any way I can find out whats causing it.

What is the purpose of the program and do you need/use it?

Haha, I'm not sure what the purpose of it is, thats why I'm here asking. It only happens when my computers idle, but thats what confuses me because theres no sound playing while my computer is idle.

Phade102,

If you have no use for the program go into the control panel and uninstall/delete it and reboot.

CORRECTION:

Go into MSCONFIG and stop the service.

FWIW:  Aforementioned service should reflect a status of Started, with a Startup Type of Automatic from what I see.  I'm not sure why you are monitoring the service activity.
