Today, I was surfing the internet when all of my windows open became unresponsive. Then I wasn't able to click on anything in explorer and I wasn't able to do control-alt-delete, but if I pressed control-alt-delete it would say something about winlogin not being able to display the options. If I didn’t press control alt delete it would black screen and I couldn't do anything and would have to hard shutdown. Just to clarifiy, there was no BSOD in any part of this.

After the hard shut down were you able to boot up to the desktop again?

Keep us posted

Yes I was, but if I run other browsers or things like that it would do the same thing.

EDIT: After about 4 times or this I no longer got lockups. But my audio seems to be messed up.

It's beginning to sound like things are not loading correctly.

Have you run any scans to check memory or the HDD?
