I cannot install any virus protection related softwares, because this virus just cancels the virus as well as removed my previous virus protections[Malawarebytes, and Advance system care 7]

The problem was because of this one download, it was a virus[my fault].

I shall attach logs.

Things I'm trying to do now:

Burn a Bitdefender rescue cd onto a CD from another laptop then load it onto my infect laptop.

Thanks for the help!

Hello Kida1, and welcome on BC. :welcome:

I will be helping with your computer problems.

Before starting please note the following:

  • If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know
  • Do not make any changes on your own to the computer (installing/uninstall programs, deleting files, modifying the registry, running scanners or other tools, etc.) without instructions to do it
  • Please read every post completely and perform all steps in the specified order. If you can't understand something or you encounter problems please stop and let me know
  • Do not attach logs, use code or quote boxes. Just copy and paste the text unless directed otherwise
  • Even if things appear to be better, it does not mean we have finished. Follow my instructions and reply back until I tell you that your computer is clean.
  • Please reply using the Add Reply button in the lower right hand corner of your screen

I'm analyzing your logs, I'll go back as soon as possible.  :)

Regards

Hello Kida :)

Please download Roguekiller and AdwCleaner save them to your desktop, then:

1- Run a scan with Roguekiller

  • Quit all programs that you may have started
  • Please disconnect any external drives from the computer before you run this scan
  • Right-click on the RogueKiller icon and select Run as Administrator
  • Wait until Prescan has finished
  • Click on "Scan" button
  • Wait until the Status box shows "Scan Finished"
  • Close RogueKiller without fixing anything

2- Run a scan with AdwCleaner

  • Close all open programs and internet browsers
  • Right click on the AdwCleaner icon then select Run As Administrator
  • When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer
  • Click on the Scan button
  • Once the scan has finished, close AdwCleaner

In your next reply please post the contents of the C:\ProgramData\RogueKiller\Logs\RKreport_SCN_mmddyyyy_hhmmss.txt and the C:\AdwCleaner[Rx].txt files.
