All,

I am changing my android phone from sony ericsson xperia pro to HP slate 6.

Sony pro has android Ice cream sandwich and HP has jelly bean.

Can someone suggest how to move all my data to new phone.

I can do for contacts messages etc... I am concerned on apps and its data....

My goal is when I switch to new phone, I should feel that i have just upgraded my hardware, with all my data as it is...

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. If have missed any info let me know.

Note : Sony ericsson is rooted, but I don't want to root my new phone as if now...  :football:

I'd suggest Titanium Backup. With the pro version you can set up schedules and other options, but I think the free version can back up app data. However, you do need root, so I'm not sure that the restore portion of it will work on your new phone.

Or there's Helium, by Clockworkmod. I've not used this extensively, but I have heard good things about the brand. This advertises being able to do it without root, which might be helpful.

Other Play Store options
