I was recently trying to download a file on a trusted site (I'd used the site before without any problems). I found this program called optimizer pro on my desktop, so I deleted and uninstalled the program. A couple days afterwards, I see my computer running super slowly and an Optimizer Pro pop-up appears. I go to uninstall it again, and it says the un-installation files are missing. I go download optimizer pro again for the un-installation files and my computer doesn't complete the download. It says -Network Error-, So I go look up a solution on google chrome and all it says is "Try Again Later".
So I'm stuck with Optimizer pro which seemingly slows down my PC, and I can't download anything to get it off of my computer because of the constant network error. So I thought maybe there was a solution inside the OS that someone on here knows about.
