I'm aware replying to my own post will delay the process as warned in the readme, but i'll deal with it

I have found recently (though at no known point, eg adding of software) that I am unable to access any of microsofts services. These include MSN messenger, windows.com, msn.com et al. Also, the same applies to eBay for reasons beyond my knowledge. Not being able to log into messenger with the error code I got is common, however I have tried all the fixes on there to no avail. Also none of them report the lack of functionality wrt web pages. All other web pages work. I have no known proxies set up, and disabling firewall's briefly didnt solve the problem either. Also it isn't a problem with my HOSTS file. This is a last resort though I don't expect you to find anything. I have virus(etc) scanned with bitdefender online, avg locally, spybot, adaware. This is just me grasping at straw.

Thanks for looking over it though :flowers:

Kind Regards,

Mitch

PS problem applies to both IExplorer and Firefox, though msn messenger wont connect but GAIM will... And it appears other sites as well (which appear random, I am trying to find a connection)

Ok it turns out that my other networked computers (which I dont regularly use for general computer use) also have this trouble, which means it is a server problem and thus this would be the wrong log anyway.

So thanks for those who would have looked but now there is no need

Kind Regards,

Mitch

Hi Mitch,

Sorry we didn't get to you before you figured this out. I'll leave this thread open if you require any further help.
