Is there a specific application or game you are running when this occurs?

What is the make and model of this computer?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Bugchecker error code 0x1000008e and 0x0000001a are both indicative of memory problems.

Suggested Microsoft fixes are to run a memory diagnostic, either Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer) or memtest86+ (www.memtest.org); change out the video adapter to see if the problem goes away; make sure your video drivers are up to date; and if all else fails, update the BIOS.

In addition to the above-mentioned memory errors, your Microsoft Security Essentials isn't updating. Try updating them manually by downloading the 32-bit file and following the instrustions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971606

As for "The UPnP Device Host service failed to start due to the following error: %%1069", you'll need to make sure the SSDP service is set to start automatically to clear this issue. Type services.msc in the search bar, search for SSDP Discovery, and make sure it is Started. By default, it should be set to Manual. If it has been stopped, then right-click the service and click Start at the top of the menu.

You are also having some issues with your Brother printer/scanner. Check to make sure those drivers are up to date as well. You may need to troubleshoot this one further with Brother. Another fix for this I've seen is to update the driver for the Windows Image Acquisition service.

That might help. Were they Microsoft Security Essential updates, or something else?

One other observation. Do you have Malwarebytes set to run real-time -- that is, is it not disabled? What about MSE? It's not recommended to have the two installed and running simultaneously. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/mse-protect_start/will-malwarebytes-and-mse-work-together/c7b0ec1b-9ee3-43ef-88c2-20f2ab34b8c2

I would still recommend running a memory diagnostic. You've got 3GB of RAM installed, the max allowed with a 32-bit system. You shouldn't be getting memory-related bugcheck errors. It's most likely either faulty RAM or a corrupt driver.

I run MWB manually every month. MSE runs real time and scans once a week. Memory check reported no errors.

Is there a specific application or game you are running when this occurs?

No

I take it the blue screens are still an issue? if so, try the other steps recommended earlier:

If you can install another video card and its driver, do so and see if the blue screens continue. If so...

Check to make sure the driver for the original video adapter is up to date.

http://www.ehow.com/how_8097059_check-installed-drivers-windows-7.html

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/driver-version-windows-7.htm

Note: Even if Windows reports the driver is up to date, it doesn't hurt to check the website of the company that makes the video adapter to see if they have more recent drivers you can download for your adapter and operating system.

You should also check and, if necessary, update the Realtek audio driver. In addition, type Device Manager in the search bar, click on Device Manager, and make sure there isn't a yellow warning icon or red X on the audio device under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

Check the printer driver. You can download the most recent driver here: http://support.brother.com/g/b/productsearch.aspx?c=us&lang=en&content=dl Most Brother print drivers are automatically downloaded through Windows Updates. Make sure that's set to download automatically and that they are up to date.

The only recent errors are for your Brother printer. Are you having any issues printing to it? If not, you can probably ignore them.
Glad that worked out.

Glad that worked out.

I had to reinstall the wireless laser printer yesterday after a router replacement.Printer is working well. The other brother printer is low on ink and that might be the one throwing out the errors. Thanks for the help.
