I recently noticed a random program that wants to make changes to my computer. It says that it is Adobe Flash but I already have the latest version. It says the source is "Downloaded from the Internet" and the link site is fpdownload2.macromedia.com. I did some research and fpdownnload is Adobe but fpdownload2 isnt. I scanned with avast and it found nothing. I really need to know where this file(s) are located and How I could remove them.

That is a legitimate link.

Let's do this
Remove all traces of Abode Flash and Shockwave player using these tools:

Flash uninstaller: Uninstall Flash Player

Shockwave uninstall

Restart the machine

Go to Adobe site download and install both removed apps.

Close your browser and reopen.
How is it?
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
