Looking for a Grammar Checker that will work universally in browsers and Office apps, as a favor for a friend I said I would try to find a grammar checker that would work with internet explorer. She will not change browsers because the online course with not work correctly in firefox or other browsers. I am also likely going to give her a copy of Open Office, but she will not copy text from the browsers to the Doc. files for editing.

She needs it for an online class where having poor grammar in a written question can cause her to fail the question even if her answer is correct.

So far I have found http://www.gingersoftware.com/

However everything I have read as said it is intrusive, almost impossible to remove, are there any better options?

I see Microsoft says IE10 (and presumably IE11) now has a grammar checker here:

Good luck.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.
