I've been trying to remove this for a few days now, but just can't find a way.  Hopefully you can help me and tell me how to finally get rid of it for good.  I haven't had the background sound or ads that others talk about, but it seems to kick me out of nearly every program and revert me back to the desktop, thanks if you can help.

I have had this problem as well. Malwarebyte tried to remove this problem multiple times but it keeps coming back. And it takes a lot of services and also CPU.

If Malwarebytes identifies it, have you tried running a scan in Safe Mode?

No I have not done it in safe mode as of yet. Going to try that now.

If the file is here it is legitimate.

C:\ProgramData\updatetask\vmhost.exe
