since 6pm (uk time) ish this site has been so slow to load as to be virtually unusable. it isn't me as i have had no problems with the speed of other sites, some of the times this site has failed to load a message was displayed about "cloudflare". even now this topic starting page has taken over 5 minutes to load.

Back on this site, for a while anyway, been so busy the last year.

My systems:2 laptops, intel i3 processors, windows 8.1 installed on the hard-drive and linux mint 17.3 MATE installed to USB

It's not just your side of "the pond".  I'm seeing the same thing in the USA.   :bounce:

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

I have seen one "can not connect" problem but I have not had any slow downs here in the state of MN.
