Hi

 

When I try to update my windows 8 I get error 643.

 

How do I fix this?

 A search on the MS web site indicates a corrupt registration folder.  They have a "fixit" at this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982 .  If that doesn't fix the problem, they have other suggestions as well, including a fix for .NET problems.
