The members of BC represent most of the nations of the world, all age groups, and certainly many varied interests, backgrounds, and hobbies, and all certainly use the Internet regularly. Yesterday, while re-arranging my browser's bookmarks and deleting some (OK, a LOT) that I have only used once, I thought of an interesing question:

Suppose you could have only five bookmarks- - - not including portals, search engines, and BC, of course- - -which URLS (sites) would you absolutely include?

Provide the URL and tell us why you would include it.

Cheers,

John

http://www.epinions.com

I like this site for its reviews. I have learned to always read reviews if there are any before I buy products. If they are reviewed and are considered junk I will know BEFORE I buy the product myself.

http://www.christiananswers.net/spotlight/

This site reviews movies with a Christian perspective. It goes into the details of the movie like the sex content and language. We have learned to try and review movies before we see them because some arent worth watching.

http://www.ebay.com

Well we use ebay for buying and making money online. A penny saved is a penny earned....

http://www.hp.com

I have a hp laptop and they give me free live support when I need it 24x7 along with updates to software and such free.

http://www.cnet.com

I just like this site for its news items and such.

http://www.gamewinners.com/forums

Awesome community for gamers and support. I get a lot of gaming news from users that have insider-accounts on a lot of exclusive game sites.

My source for all Ps3 news and videos.

A great place to destroy boredom and get some entertainment

http://www.facebook.com

Another great please to kill time and meet some people along the way. It's a great community for college students to find out about different people in their classes, make friends and join groups w/ similar interests.

http://www.titantv.com

The best substitute for the tvguide or tvguide channel. I'm on that site at least 3 times a day to check what times shows come on, and what episodes are being shown.

I'm recommending Google's Content Homepage, not the search engine. It's homepage is excellent. You can add any content you want. You can even create your own content too!

I hate to admit it but 95% of the sites in my favorites folder are, for lack of a better term, geeky techno sites and probably seem boring to most.
Soooooo, with what's left:

Warp Radio

Radio Tower

ESPN

MSNBC

MapQuest

Pathetic, i know.
