I accidently "upgraded" to IE 11.   I would like to go back to IE10.

I tried to delete recent updated using the control panel but I got a message that my PC has no installed updates.

I would appreciate any help in downgrading to IE 10

Thanks

Hi,

If you go into Control panel-windows update,- view update history, at the top of this page you will see were it says To remove an update, see Installed updates. Go there and scroll down to Internet Explorer 11,click on and uninstall.

Hope this is of assistance.

Regards,

Tony. :smash:

Either your computer is incredibly messed up or you didn't follow instructions.  Since you have IE11, there's no doubt that you have installed some updates.  Regarding IE, I don't care what version you have, it's buggy.  I recommend you use Firefox and/or Chrome instead wherever you can.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

But remember that Firefox and Chrome are equally as buggy.

Here is a step by step with pictures. You have to disable IE 11 first.
