I'm trying to recall a program I found very useful to conduct internal searches in my computer. In response to a key word or a phrase it searches the computer and shows all instances of that word or phrase. It was a free program and I'm unable to recall its name. Can anyone help me on this?

There's the search box under the Start button, and the Windows Explorer has a search ability.  Is that what you're asking about?

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

Thanks for the responses to my inquiry. The program I sought is Agent Ransack (I just couldn't dredge up that name). It's newly installed now and working well.

Thanks again,

Jim
