VERY SLOW STARTUP

Howdy,

Since I installed Verizon DSL, I noticed my computer takes at least 3 full minutes to fully load at startup. Otherwise, it seems to run pretty good, though I get a fair amount of Verizon bandwidth slowdown which is apparently a common thing. I might be wrong, but it seems it could also be that I installed Zone Alarm and MSN messenger shortly thereafter adding to the problem. I read on a forum that Verizon Support (especially Motive SmartBridge) was a problem for some folks, so I uninstalled that, but without any improvement.

I have run Norton AV, Verizon's PC Security Checkup, Adaware, Window Washer and HijackThis, all in Safe Mode. My system is WIN98. If anybody can make a suggestion, I would appreciate it. Log file below.
