I cannot highlight text in word 2013 or pdf documents

 Have you checked for malware?  What are using to open the PDF files?


Please download Speccy and run it.  After it runs, click File and Publish.  Copy and paste the link to the result in your next post.  Also run minitoolbox and run it checking the following boxes:

List last 10 Event Viewer errors

List installed programs

List users partitions and memory size

List minidump files

Post the results here.
