So, I bought a new computer about an year ago, and it worked perfectly until a month ago. Then it started to show some error : "clock_watchdog_timeout". It happened when I played 3d games (fullscreen or not). But it didn't show when minecraft was minimised (not working on fullscren but minimised worked). From then I've got couple of other errors so I decided to re-install windows (8.1). When I re-installed it. I played Minecraft fulscreen perfectly but other games still won't work. Except that, when it crashes it doesn't show me clock_watchdog_timeout anymore, it shows me this attached picture. I can post any system specifies. Thanks!

This type of error is usually hardware related.

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  When  FileHippo opens, click on Download latest version in the upper right pane.

When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

speccy9_zps2d9cdedc.png

Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot.

The following screen will appear, click on Yes.

speccy7_zpsfa02105f.png

The following screen will appear, click on Copy to Clipboard.

speccy3_zps1791b093.png

In your next post right click inside the Reply to Topic box, then click on Paste.  This will load a link to the Speccy log.

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

 Checkmark the following checkboxes:

• List last 10 Event Viewer log
• List Installed Programs
• List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
• List Minidump Files

Click on Go to start the scan.  Once it is finished highlight the text, copy it and paste it in your next post.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

First I have to tell you that the picture you showed has nothing but blurred lines.  Is that actually seeing or did something "get lost in transmission"?  Next I have to ask about drivers.  A very common mistake people make when they reinstall is not getting all the drivers and helper apps they need from the computer manufacturer.  A greatly preferable approach is to restore to factory settings; a procedure which still should be available to you.  The procedure for that is documented in your user guide which you probably don't have on your system any more, due to reinstalling.  However you should be able to download it from your computer manufacturer's web site.  The user guide usually tells you how to create recovery discs to be used for restoring, but if you don't have these, again you can probably get them from your manufacturer for a small fee ($25 to $35 ball park).

If you should want to go the remedial route with what you currently have, I'd run Speccy and post the results here, then run minitoolbox and check the "List the last 10 event viewer errors.  While I was typing, I see DC3 posted the details, so I won't elaborate further.

Good luck.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

The following entry in the minitoolbox report gets my attention.

slui.exe is the Windows activation program, so I'm wondering why you can't activate your copy of Windows.  Did you try and fail?  Do you have an unauthorized version of Windows 8 you used?  Did you use an OEM version that had already been used somewhere else?

It doesn't matter to me cause it works fine. When it starts to give problems i will try to find a solution.   The thing that is worrying me now is clock_watchdog_timeout. Thanks for noticing but can you please focus on this error. Thanks! :)

From what I can see, that error suggests a hardware problem.  See this link:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/499856/how-to-fix-my-clock-watchdog-timeout-error/

I see DC3 suggested this was usually a hardware error earlier today also.  I'd get hold of some good diagnostics and run them.
