Hello kpouter.

There are many variants of ransomware infections. Some of the names include Cryptolocker, CryptorBitHowDecrypt Ransomware and CryptoDefense Ransomware.

Grinler (aka Lawrence Abrams) has done extensive research and authored numerous guides describing the crypto infection, how to deal with it and possibly recover your data.

I would recommend you visit the following link to help you understand more about the infection and what your options are:

CryptoLocker Hijack program discussion.

If you only need removal instructions, you can start by referring to this topic: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Removal Instructions for CryptoLocker

Additionally, you may also reply with more information on specifically what you are experiencing and which variant of the the crypto infection you have seen in order for us to direct you to the right place for more help.

Thank you,

~Stolen
