First of all let me state here that I am computer illiterate but still need help in simple language! Upon starting up my computer I receive this message: Can not find script file "C:\VT-SecureTools\CheckNews.vbs". I have looked this up on the internet and some sites say that it is a trojan. If so how can I get rid of it????? I desperately need help and believe me it will be greatly appreciated!

Download and install the free version of Malwarebytes and get it up to date, then do a scan.  After it runs, check the box for it to quarantine all the things it found.  If that doesn't fix it, boot to Safe Mode and do a full system scan with your antivirus.

By the way, it would be helpful if you'd supply the make and model of your computer and the version of Windows you have.

Good luck.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.
