i just upgraded an unwanted acer laptop from windows vista to windows 7 ultimate 32-bi.it was a fresh install, cleaning the previous OS away and everything went well.
the problem lies with the windows boot manager.normally there would be an X-second timeout in the bootmanager screen, but in my case there isn't.it just stays there until i press enter.
i tried editing the timeout value in msconfig, bcdedit in cmd and in advanced system settings, but the results are the same.no timeout in the windows bootmanager screen.
i want my laptop to boot by itself, any help is appreciated.
