Turning on my desktop I get a sound coming from the speakers, it sounds like a commercial being streamed. I checked the background processes and could not find anything out of the ordinary. I need to get it cleaned off asap it makes it difficult to watch movies. I checked my Volume mixer to see where the audio was coming from, and it said from my speakers only, no direct origin unlike when it says chrome is playing audio and at what level. I also did a cleanup and took off programs and viruses/malware like bull savings and a small handful of others, and sound still comes on. Computer is running Vista 32bit. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Make & model, Windows version?  Does this happen before you start a browser?  My dog broke my crystal ball.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

Issue happens when I turn on the computer. Just letting start up programs open. I just checked, and without it being connected to the internet on startup(no ethernet connected before switching on) no commercial is playing.

I ended up just backing up all the information and formatting it.
