On an AVAST quick scan the log showed 6 entries which were not labeled as viruses but instead had the ID as:  Error: Archive is password protected (42056). The six objects all had as listed C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-142347077-3383857689-3368584957-1006\Dc6.exeI>images\    then each of the entries were different from that point on:  button-center-highlight.png

                                                                           bg-download-bar-full.png

                                                                           bg-download-bar-error.png

                                                                           bg-download-bar-empty.png

                                                                           bg-close-program.png

It looks like a program but I am not familiar with this.

The listings are hidden files on my C drive but I cant locate any such files using search, Windows explorer, WinPatrol, etc. I'm still waiting to hear from AVAST on this.

I'm running XP SP3 on a ACER laptop with:

AVAST

WinPatrol

SuperAntispyware Pro

Online Armour

EMET

Spyware Blaster

MB Anti Exploit

Open DNS

Safe ip

Anyone ever hear of RECYCLER?

Thanks

It's your recycle / trash bin.

Thank you Allan. Silly me, recognized the recycler but the rest fooled me. I'm surprised Avast showed it on the scan. It never has before. Strange. But thank you again. You were kind to take my question.
