I may have downloaded something wrong because my antiviruses will not load and give me an error message saying that I have "access denied" when loading up the antivirus. However, this has also allowed me to no longer open up my steam, saying it is missing a steamui.dll missing also. I tried reinstalling and no help. Do not know if these are related.

Can you do a System Restore?  If not in normal mode, maybe in Safe Mode?

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

What antivirus program is it,did you try to reinstall it?Try scanning your system with Malwarebytes in Safe mode and see what it comes up with.

If you have virus you may need to post in Am i infected forum.

When restarting my computer to put it into safe mode, it gave me a blue screen saying that windows shutdown to prevent further damage, when I put the comp in safemode and tried to do system restore, it gave me the error 'c:\\Windows\system32\rstui.exe'.

Also Malwarebytes will not open in safemode either, it says it has been deleted from my comp, and when I go to reinstall it, it tells me access is denied.

Can you run RKILL?

Please download Rkill by Grinler and save it to your desktop.
  • Link 1
  • Link 2
    • Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
    • If using Vista, right-click on it and Run As Administrator.
    • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
    • If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
    • If it does not work, repeat the process and attempt to use one of the remaining links until the tool runs.
    • If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
  • Do not reboot the computer, you will need to run the application again.

Ouch!  If you haven't saved any data you don't want to lose, I'd do it ASAP.  Hopefully you'll be able to recover, but your system obviously has some serious problems.

Good luck.

I launched both links from rkill and they both sent my computer crashing back to that blue screen. I launched rkill in normal mode, should I try in safe mode? I don't believe I have much data I really need, no pictures or videos worth holding onto.
