Hello, I am new to this website. I have heard many good things about it from friends and discussion forums from Norton.
I have Norton Internet Security for my laptop and it is also installed into two other laptops for my siblings. I've noticed that lately I am unable to use Quick Scan and Full System Scan on my laptop. Every time I click on Quick Scan and/or Full System Scan, nothing happens; it doesn't work. I have to always use the Norton Removal Tool to remove Norton from my laptop and then re-download and install Norton again. This allows me to scan my computer again but then the next day, Norton will not scan anymore until I remove it and re-install all over again. I've noticed that this has started to happen to one of my sibling's computer too.
I am unsure if this is a technical error from the actual Norton product or if there is a very deep virus in my laptop that Norton missed in the scanning process. I have also used the Repair Tool (Norton Power Eraser) twice and every time it says that my Norton product is updated and my computer is fine.
My computer is the Microsoft Windows 8 with a 64-bit operating system. The version is 6.2.9200. I never had a previous security product system, I've always had Norton.
