:scratchhead:  Can find no option to delete files created with Office 2007 (Word).

Documents consist of text and photographs.

Tried various fixes including Microsoft help forums. Nothing worked.

Kindly assist.

What happens when you try to delete them?  Please post the exact message.  Do they have some kind of security permissions you need and don't have?  You could always boot from a Linux Ubuntu or Mint disc and try that.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

Thank you, both responders.

Right clicking does nothing; there is no error message.

Could find no option to delete either by going directly to My Documents or through Windows Explorer.

Try single clicking on one of the documents and pressing the DELETE key on the keyboard and see what happens.  That always works for me.

It worked !  So simple, yet I have been struggling with this issue for a few hours.

Thank you.

Good to hear it.  Thanks for the feedback.  It's a mystery why the right-click doesn't work.  Do you suppose you just need a new mouse?  You can buy a pretty good one for $20, cheap ones for as little as $4.

wpgwpg -

The mouse couldn't be the problem.

Use a Logitech remote control mouse and it works for every other program in my computer.
