Camtasia Studio 8, a video editing program, crashes multiple times per day in Windows 8.1 Pro. The problem only happens on my desktop computer, which I recently built, but works just fine on my laptop. Everything on the desktop is new except for the video card, which I bought used. It's possible I bought a defective video card.
Anyways, it seems to happen most often when I'm zooming in and out of the timeline, I recorded a video screenshot of it happening here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2QTL61Pc2UVVDFmRFNJLXZaN1k/edit?usp=sharing
How can I troubleshoot specifically what is causing camtasia to crash so often?
