I 'inherited' an older PC. Got it working great. Adding RAM today.

Here's my question: Will this motherboard support, if I add a USB 3 card?

By the way, try as I might, I cannot get access to the Gigabyte website.

Thanks again.

Vicki

what kind of motheroard is it?  My guess since it is an older PC that it most likely wont support USB 3.0 but doesnt hurt to look it up

Yes, You did post the Motherboard model in the title of the post.

Depends if You can find a USB3 PCI Express or PCI card that will work with whatever version of Windows You have. If You are running Windows 7 or 8 that should be no problem. I suspect that You could still be running XP based on the age of the computer's Motherboard. Also buy where You can return the card if it does not work.

What Windows are You running?

Good Luck

Roger

Thanks, Moderator.  I've upgraded to Win 7, so no problem.

On my way to NewEgg, TigerDirect, and/ or Amazon for the card.

Thank you again.
