Were you trying to reply to a topic in Malware Removal Logs?

A few minutes ago I hovered over your name and noticed you were looking at topic in that forum. I think it was something about Ice Money Pak.

If so, you are not able to make a reply to topics in that forum.

The only people who can reply to one of those topics are the topic starter, members of the malware removal team and certain Bleeping Computer staff.

Some of the virus related topics are restricted to BC staff only.  What I did when I ran into this was to click on the filter by forum button and set the list of topics to exclude the ones I couldn't reply to.  That saves me time I was wasting reading & trying to reply to topics I was restricted from.  The button is in the lower left corner of the New Content window.

Good luck.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.

I'm guessing you've solved your own problem as I've seen you reply to your thread. But just in case there is any lingering confusion you had two threads:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/611194/scam-by-quicken-wanna-be-am-i-really-infected/

and

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/611213/scam-by-quicken-wanna-be-am-i-really-infected/

The first was closed (so you can no longer reply to it) once the second one got started.

You posted the same thing in Am I Infected and Malware Removal Logs.

My first inclination was to close the MRL topic and continue in AII.

That went out the window because Oh My! had replied to the MRL topic.

When one has posts about the same issue in different malware removal boards, the one in MRL takes precedence.
