Ok, i have had this game for a while and i used to have it on my PC, and just recently i decided to instal it again so i could play it. Only problem is, after the game opens and goes into the loading screen, i get this message:

Fatal Error

couldn't create surface:

DirectX error message: DDERR_INVALIDPARAMAS

After that the game just shuts down, and im not sure what to do if anything to fix this. Any help would be great. Thanks

The error message refers to DirectX, download the latest version of DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx. This is most likely the problem. If this doesnt work try downloading the latest version of Project Igi from http://igi2.gamegate2k.com/viewigi2/updates.
Legend has it that... If you put an AOL disc the opposite way and play it you can hear devilish music... Even worse if you put it the right way... IT INSTALLS AOL!

Thanks for the reply Nat Sci. I downloaded the recent version of DirectX, and still got the Error Message. As for the updates you reccomended, they would not work in my case because i am running the original IGI game, not IGI 2: covert opps. Thanks for your help though.
