Choppy Video

Just bought a new computer lenovo  windows 8 2 months old getting choppy video playback not enough to cut sound but freezes for  A Second and continues. took it back to where i bought it and all they did was download an extension to each browser. ad blocker plus. 

said when the banner ads popped up it caused the choppyness. Brought it home still not the case. still happening to videos. These guys are just grasping at straws. can someone come up with a solution. display adapter is an intel graphics 4000. any clues. 


i5 processer intel , 6gigs ram , 2.6ghz

What videos, i.e. DVDs, Bluray, MP4, YouTube?
