Hi!

Recently, I was looking through my computer trying to find unwanted files and I found a file in users named as my first name which had 2 suspicious files, aside with the real users file (The file includes Desktop, Downloads, Favourites, My Documents, My Pictures, My Videos and so on) with with my first and last name and Public.  Contained in this suspicious file had HRUPPROG.DIE.NOW file and a HRUPPROG.TXT file, I haven't tried deleting or double clicking the files because I am scared if it may damage my computer.

I have Windows Firewall up, i have "Avast!" but not activated it.

It has just stayed there and hasn't done anything to my computer in any way, but I searched online and found it was a virus. Please Help, Thanks!

Upon entering the file, it said that the HRUPPROG.DIE.NOW file and the HRUPPROG.TXT file were both 1kg each, i used properties on the file itself and i found that the virus had over 100gb of storage! I'm not sure if i should just normally delete it by putting it in the recycle bin, but it hasn't done anything to my computer in any way. I've left this file for about one year, i have felt no effects from it. The TXT file just had 100 typed into it.

Should i just delete it manually? Will it activate the virus?
