Bleeping Computer DOES NOT recommend the use of registry cleaners/optimizers for several reasons:

There is little if any advantage to disabling services. In fact, doing so causes more posts on support forum than almost any other user-created problems. As for "taking out the garbage", I have no idea what that means.

If you want more available memory at boot you can limit the number of startup apps. A simple program such as Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel (http://download.cnet.com/Startup-Control-Panel/3000-2094_4-10039330.html) or a slightly more comples Auroruns (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb963902.aspx) to easily control startup processes.

I'm not sure what disk cleanup has to do with more ram, but okay. If there are any specific problems you need addressed please let us know.
