Cannot connect to Internet

I work with windows 8.1 pro.
From desktop any browser (ie11 and Chrom) cannot connect to the internet.
Although ie works well and connect to the internet when I start it from the metro windows.

 I have Windows 8.1 that I run IE11, Chrome, and Firefox in desktop mode with no problems.  What is the error you're getting?  Please post the exact text of the message.

Everyone with a computer should back his system up to an external hard drive regularly.  :thumbsup:
