Greetings. Got a little problem with a flashdrive I'd like some advice on.

[Massive editing because of ongoing experiments since the original post]

Here's what happening....when I search in 'Computer' under the date last modified, I see a doc, with an address of a folder in the flashdrive, but that folder is not on the flash. I've gone to the control panel and set the 'Folder Options' to show hidden folders, but it's still not showing. When I copy the aqddress, and do a search in the flash, the folder shows, but with two slashes before its name after the F:    The missing docs are all there, and they open. I've pasted them into another folder on the comouter's hard-drive, but this is driving me crazy. How can I get this folder to reveal itself? A right click brings up an 'edit address' option..when chosen, is there a character in the very long stream of them that I can take out to correct this?  I'm worried that there's still a problem with the 'architecture' of the flash, and I don't want to lose anything else....  Thanks

Before I did anything else I'd be sure I had everything important backed up.

Then I might edit the filename so that it conforms to the accepted norm.

Keep us posted
