Hi there,

I could really use some help/suggestion.  I have an older desktop pc, Dell Inspiron 530 that worked great until a few days ago.  It randomly shut down and when I try to restart it sounds like its starting but nothing but black screen.  I did remove the hard drive and it seems its working okay (looked at it from my laptop).

I did do a windows (7) update a few days ago and installed and ran scan with Avast a couple days before.

Please let me know what other information can help.

Thanks so much in advance,

Is it old enough that the power supply might be going into failure mode?
