I have two Cisco ASA 5505 routers in two different locations. The router at the remote location died. I then purchased another ASA 5505 to replace it. I was told I could swap the hard drives (flash disk) between them and everything should work including the VPN. I have already swapped the drives, now I have all the current configurations from the old and everything looks OK. The problem is that the VPN tunnel between the locations is down. Is there something I need to change to make the VPN work again or do I need to redo the VPN tunnel all together? Any help is greatly appreciated.
