I was surfing the web a while ago. I was watching porn (pornhub in case you wonder) and this other page opened as well, pulled me into it and a Pop-Up supposdly from the police, saying my browiser was frozen and my information seized appeared.
I couldn't close the browser and if i minimized it it kept pulling me back.
I made a hard reset and started researching.
After i found out i followed a guide from malwaretips.com for said problem.  But before that i ran a full scan using avast. Nothing came out of it

After that i downloaded MalwareBytes and ran a scan, but nothing certain, only 8 PUPs which i quarantined.

After that i tried hitmanpro...but everytime i tried to run it it simply crashed. Looking around the web and found that it might be a malware.
After that i tried going into safe mode, but it just wouldn't let me. The screen would go black and the white _ would appear but windows would start normally.

I just unistalled avas and I'm installing kaspersky pure 3.0. I'll see what comes from that.

Thanks in advance for the help! :)

That version of a "drive-by ransomware" only lasts until you kill the browser process or shut off the computer. If MalwareBytes found no trojans or anything serious then the computer is most likely clean
