Hello All,

I am viewing information from log viewer in Ipswitche's WS_FTP Server application.

When I export the FTP file transfers for the month to Excel, I get an error message that there is an invalid command (<cmd>ŸÔŸABOR</cmd>).

This is an unknown command and I have not found any information on this error.

Has anyone seen this information before?

ABOR is an FTP command that stops the transfer, usually by pressing the cancel key, or since you say it's a server, most likely the distant end user. http://www.ipswitch.com/support/ws_ftp-server/guide/v5/A_FTPref3.html Since you are using two programs (exporting from WS-FTP into EXCEL), please specify where you got the error. Was it in the log, was it during the export, or while importing into EXCEL? Normally you have to save data from a file, then manually import it into EXCEL in a CSV, TEXT, etc file.

The error occurred after I tried to open the XML document in Excel.

Excel would not import because of that error.

Thank you for your response by the way. Extremely insightful!
