Hello!

I have been having an issue, starting today, with this error ("SoftwareName".exe - Bad Image) these are always linked to .dll files and it reads "........ .dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error....blah blah blah". I do not have any virus protection as I am careful with what I look at and download. Also, I usually have no problem getting rid of the usual malware or virus myself if I ever get them, but I have been giving this one my full attention and effort today starting at around 7 p.m. when I woke my computer back up from sleep. I have been using different software that I like including: CCleaner and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as well as doing some manual searching and deleting/cleaning. The main reason for this post is to ask about the program that I have been seeing people try on many different PC help sites which is ComboFix. I am more than ready to try other options before combo fix if someone has ideas, but this program seems to be getting the job done for people. I see that it has many cautions before using it and thus I made this post to be assure it is the right thing to use.
Thanks!

Sorry I see that this was placed in the wrong Forum Section and can be taken down now (or can I remove it?) as I now posted in the proper section.

Repost moved from MRL to AII, which is proper forum :).

This topic is now closed to avoid confusion.
