I ran SuperAntiSpyware, which is a program I don't usually utilize, to see if it would detect anything that MalwareBytes and Emsisoft Emergency Kit had not detected on my wife's computer that is running unusually slow. I am not a novice at virus/malware removal or other computer issues. The issue with her computer seems to be malware related. SuperAntiSpyware identified the following as a Trojan.Agent/Gen-Autorun [swisyn]. C:\Program Files\TestOut\sims\ap06\programs\ certsrv.exe Can anyone verify or discount this identification? I know the there is a certsrv.exe that is a normal Windows service. Thanks.

Hello -

Chances are that it is a False Positive. Do you use Avast as your Antivirus, as this was reported at their forum ??

Download TFC (Temp File Cleaner) by OldTimer to your desktop
 • Close any open windows.
• Double click the TFC icon to run the program
• TFC will close all open programs itself in order to run,
• Click the Start button to begin the process.

• Allow TFC to run uninterrupted.
• The program should not take long to finish it's job
• Once its finished it may automatically reboot your machine,
• if it doesn't, please manually reboot to ensure a complete clean

Check again after that.

For this reason SAS seems to have dropped a bit in rankings recently.

I would rely on the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free more often.
