I have a samsung RV510 laptop running

Win 7 Home Premium SP1
Pentium ® Dual-Core CPU
T4500 @ 2.30 GHz
Ram 4GB
64 bit

I have recently purchased a Samsung 1TB M3 Portable Drive and yesterday I created an image of my laptop using Macrium Reflect v 5.0 Professional software.  Everything seemed to work fine and I put the image onto the portable drive.  On powering up my laptop today I cannot see the portable drive.  I have removed it and plugged it into my desktop pc and it finds it without any difficulty.  I then tried plugging a smaller capacity portable drive into the laptop and it found it straight away?  I have restarted the machine and it still can't find the drive.

Can anyone offer any help with this issue?

Thanks

Hi there,

thanks for your pointer.  I have now assigned it a letter and it is visible in Explorer again.

Thank you very much for your great help
