About 2 weeks ago my games began minimizing at random times but very frequently.  The only thing I can think of that I changed was updating to the AMD Catalyst 14.4 driver.  If I change the games to window mode then they at least don't minimize but they do lose focus requiring me to click the window to regain focus on the game.  I have win 8.1.  I have reinstalled the driver as well with not luck.

If you remove the driver does it work? Go here for some info on that driver... http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDCatalyst14-4WINReleaseNotes.aspx .

I am not sure, I will uninstall the driver and see.  I will let you know.

Update:  Ok, the games I play don't work so well with no driver.  I am going to download the driver that precedes the new one and see if it still does it.  I had no problems up until the time I updated my driver, I am just not sure if it was the driver that caused it.  Will update you.

Update:  Ok, reinstalled the previous driver and it is still doing it. It has done it twice in the 30 minutes of me playing.  I guess it is not the driver.

Then I don't know. AMD may have a forum you can use to ask.
