Can I install and work with WAMP server on Windows XP ?

Assuming you are capable, there is nothing on Windows XP that prevents it. However XP is no longer supported, and will not be updated, and any web site running on XP will be vulnerable. If you plan on using it as a standalone system, then it will work just fine.
