Hello Everyone

I am new to this forum so please bear with me.

I am using XP Pro SP3. Due to the discontinuation I am wanting to create a disk by which I can reload XP should the need arise. I have figured out how to do this but would like to include the latest drivers on this disk. How can I interrogate XP to get a list so that I can check I have the latest and store these in a special place so that I can add them to my disk?

Any help greatly appreceiated.

You can clone your HDD to another disk, and reload always. But the "system image" function like in 7 does not exist.

There is a whole series of backup options here, in a tutorial.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply TsVk!  I know how to do the clone thing but I want to include the drivers and am looking for a way of displaying the current installed drivers so I can extract them to include on the clone image.

A cloned copy of Windows...includes the drivers, the data files, the programs, etc.  It's all there in a properly cloned Windows partition.
