How to disable Windows Store on Windows 8.1???

I tried to researched on the internet about the solution but I found none for Windows 8.1.

I don't have the Group Policy Editor.

When I managed to install the Group Policy Editor, I went in Administrator Templates -> Windows Components and then, Store is not listed...

I want to disable it because I don't want to waste bandwidth.

To the best of my knowledge the Windows Store doesn't run until you access it in Apps in the Search.  If it isn't running you won't be "wasting" any bandwidth.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I never access it but in Task Manager -> App History -> Network, the Store number is slowly increasing.

I turned off the tile and unpinned it from the Start menu, but it still increases.

On your Windows 8.1 start screen right click on Store and click "turn off live tile." See if that helps. You can also click alt + F4 to turn off everything running in the background.

I can't find the Store location with both method mentionned on the link. I don't know why it's too hard for me. It's like Microsoft doesn't want me to turn off the store...

My computer is a new Windows 8.1. (No upgrade from 8 to 8.1)

I found my solution:

Alternatively, open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsStore (if the WindowsStore key does not exist, create it). Create a new DWORD value in the WindowsStore key called RemoveWindowsStore. Set its value to 1.

I had to create the registry key to be able to disable it lol
