Hello Forum,

I am a new guy here, but pretty old everywhere else.

I started computing on a DEC PDP-8. We called them Minicomputers. It was the size of a refrigerator, and had 32k of core memory.

I recently opened a CMD window in Windows 8.1 and typed in "edlin file1"

Windows 8.1 tells me " 'edlin' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

I am so screwed.

P Ray

I remember the PDP 8E! At last, we had a computer you could carry in a wheelbarrow!
