I had my neighbour pass in her acer one note book running xp because she had problems getting on the net. When i checked from my own net there was no problem so it could just be her net.Anyway i ran scans it had got a bit of malware and spyware so got rid of that ran defrag and disk check and the computer runs fine but slow so theres only 1gb of ram in it so i decided to run a memory scan and the computer just freezes i tried a couple of other memory scans and the same thing happen.I know i can get the specs online to see if it will take 2gb of ram but my question is why it freezes? Thanks
