I am currently considering buying a HP ENVY laptop and am not sure if built Leap Motion technology is desirable?  Will Leap Motion technology create headaches outweigh the benefits?  Would you want it on your laptop or would it make more sense to upgrade other hardware such as graphics, memory and processor?

And finally will Leap Motion technology likely become obsolute in the near term future.

Opinions are very much appreciated!

Only you can say how much, or if, leap motion is valuable to you.  If you don't have a reason to have leap motion perhaps you would be better off putting that money towards another upgrade.

Only time will tell if Leap Motion technology is here to stay.

Personally until something makes Leap Motion a must have technology you're probably better off without it.
