Can Anyone assist please.
My favorites has had extra entries added that I cannot delete - these are
for Cool Stuff, Travel, Casino etc I assume it is some sort of spyware
adware but none of the programs I use will delete them. The option to delete the
favorites by using the right mouse button is not there for these new
entries. I can delete my original entries. Also when starting up IE a bar
comes down the bottom. Can anyone help?

Also tried adaware.

Hello kingbagot

What operating system are you using (XP, 2000, etc)? Have you performed any anti-spyware scans? What type of anti-virus are you using and when was the last time you ran a scan?

If not, here are some recommendations:

Free Antivirus programs (install only one):
AVG - How to Install, Configure, and Use AVG
Avast - How to Install, Configure, and Use Avast Antivirus
AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic

Free malware scanning/removal programs:
Ad-Aware SE
Spybot S&D
Microsoft Windows Defender (Beta)
SUPERAntiSypware Free for Home Users
Ewido Anti-Malware v3.5

Free online virus/malware scanners:
Trend Micro Housecall
Panda ActiveScan
Kaspersky Webscan [be sure to click "Scan Settings" and check the option to use the EXTENDED DATABASE]
a-squared Web Malware Scanner
F-Secure Online Scanner Next Generation Beta
Windows Insider MVP 2017-2018
Microsoft MVP Reconnect 2016
